My opinion on this is that I'd rather have an A-Rod than a Josh Hamilton ... they both did things wrong, and I don't like the kids looking up to either one of them ... but I am more concerned with the drug abuse by Hamilton and our kids seeing that.

And the kids arent seeing enough consequences for illegal actions cause sports stars don't face the same punishment as a street drug user!

Hamilton's a drug addict. That's an illness. ARod's a cheat.

But we have a lot of cheats in the game ... we don't have a lot of drug addicts ... I don't like the kids seeing any of it ... but constantly seeing Hamilton relapse is something I really don't like the kids to see.

That's an easy one. Hamilton.

Hamilton has a disease. A-Rod is a disease.

Would you rather have the Angels problems with Josh Hamilton (3 yrs, $83M left) or #Yankees with A-Rod (3 yrs $61M left)?

Think that's a good question ... what do you guys think?

ARod. There's too many venues, temptations, in NYC where a guy like Hamilton will far off the wagon.

Neither. Both are equally bad and the drugs they use will affect their bodies.

I don't think I could make that decision, which one. They are both illegal drug users in different ways. The kids that are old enough to understand know that.

Both should be banned from Baseball for life.

I can't stomach A Rod. But , he is the lesser of 2 evils. It is a pity that Hamilton  can not stay  away from alcohol or cocaine . He can't stay somber very long . This is why he needs a "keeper" 24/7 and is not allowed to have money on him.

his wife and 2 kids are who I feel sorry for . I don't how she stands his addication. I would be fearful he'd bring cocaine into that house around those kids.

And just for the record  , I think he did use PEDS

But, when do you cut a  guy loose ? Remember Steve Howe ? 4 times he got caught using cocaine and how many times did the Yankees try to get him  help. Some people  you just can't help. Hamilton likes his booze and cocaine more than anything.

Best and truest statement you have ever uttered. Right on the money. Until you have gone thru addiction or have someone close to you that has you have no clue!
