And you're full of crap. Girardi can think up an excuse for everything that he does and that doesn't make it logical or a right decision.

Thanks. Coming from you, that means...

...nothing.

Is that5 a picture of you CJ???

Then the manager would NEVER pinch hit. After all, the other manager might counter-act that move.

Not at all. You look at the other team's possible counters, and decide which matchup you like better.

In several post-game press conferences this year, Girardi explained a non-move in exactly that way.

qwik needs no defense from me but he is one of my favorite posters of all time. Most of his posts are well thought out and posted without the emotional baggage that many of us post with. I'm sure he gets as frustrated as much as all of us but when he states an opinion on any given managerial or organizational move he is able to seperate the emotion from his opinion and be objective. We don't always agree but I always appreciate your insight

Girardi could explain throwing a bomb into his own clubhouse. That's his thing -- To make excuses.

I'm not apologizing or sucking up to him, that's your convoluted opinion. I'm stating facts, something you don't do. Girardi could explain throwing a bomb into his own clubhouse is a ridiculous statement to make and far from fact. I don't like some of the moves Girardi makes and say so when he makes bad moves, check it out, but you seem to think he never does anything right and second guess every decision he makes. Tell me something, if he's so bad, how does he have this team with the injuries to key players and a roster handed to him that has major holes, 2 1/2 games behind a much more talented Toronto team on September 23??? One more thing, who would you want to replace him?

The team is better than people give them credit for. .  Torre had to deal with a lot worse in 2005 .  does anyone remember the pitching staff that year?

That year sucked badly...   But this seems worse. We had the division mostly won, anf if they get some help, we hold off the Jays. They got help, and got incredibly hot. They are going to do well. Luck isn't hurting them, either...
