As I was going into work, the WFAN radio crew was calling the Yankee game and commenting about the AZ/Houston game.  Sterling said first that with the game tied 3-3, it would be good if the Astros went about 16 innings and used all their pitchers.  Then he said, it would be a lot more comforting if Goldschmidt just came up and hit a 3 run HR and that he was in the on-deck circle.  Then he came up with a man on and Sterling said a 2 run shot would work.  Lo and behold, he hit it.

You have to wonder what the heck Hinch was thinking, pitching to Goldschmidt with a man on 3rd and nobody out, with Saltalamacchia and Hill and Lamb coming up behind him. Thank you, Mr. Hinch.
