If Levine is actually talking like this as representative of the organization, it may be well time that H&H show him the door. He should keep his mouth shut and do his job, not create drama in the public venue and upset players on the team. This is the type of thing that will cause Betances to stick it to the Yanks once he hits FA, and the dollar the Yankees save today will cost them $100 tomorrow if they want to retain him.

Not too swift on Levine berating Betances.... the Yankees beat Dellin Betances in arbitration, which means he’ll earn $3M this season rather than the $5M he was seeking. Team president Randy Levine then made the impossibly stupid decision to hold a conference call ripping Betances and his agent. Winning the hearing wasn’t enough, apparently. Great look, Yankees. Remind me again how classy the organization is.

Randy Levine is one of the worst things that has happened to the Yankees. I firmly believe he is the reason the Yankees waited so long to get younger. If Hal was smart he'd go to Betances and give him 4mil and remind him that the club appreciates how a home grown Yankee has pitched the last few years. Plus the guy handles himself in a proffessional manner and takes responsibility for poor outings. Pay the guy Hal!`

I think they should ambush him in the trainer's room in ST, have Aaron "The Mountain" Judge hold him down and have Dellin shave off the rest of his clown hair.
