I'd like to thank Betances for giving it his all. Probably should've shown him a FB that AB but he did a hell of a job. You can't expect a guy who has already worked 2 great innings and isn't use to that kind of pitch load to keep his stuff. Girardi should be embarrassed. One of the worst managed game i've ever seen. I don't care what anyone says, there is no way in hell I want to see that man making decisions for this team after that. He lost the fans and more importantly he might've lost the dugout.

He deserves to lose his job over this game. Unreal.

He won't be rehired...and he doesn't deserve it. 2009 was a lucky blessing for Girardi...he got a ring because the "Core Four" still had enough left for one final swan song. Since then...ZILCH...and his inspiration for his teams have been just that...ZILCH!

Is that what he said? I shut it off. I mean what does Green's rhythm have to do with DRob being the one that should've pitched to Lindor? Stupidity must be running through his veins in abundance tonight.

Guy was on the hot seat, poor excuse. But he's not going anywhere. Overall, did a great job this season!

Boone: You know my mama wanted me to be a farmer.

Judge: My dad wanted me to be a baseball playe

Boone: Well you're better than any player I ever had. And you're the best  damn hitter I ever saw. Suit up.

Giradi managed a great game Tuesday. Tonight he was terrible. Put his team in a huge hole. Nobodys fault but Girardi. It should have been 8-3 if he challanged after that inning.

Tanaka and Severino have to come up huge.

Girardi's reason for taking CC out. He spoke he said that CC was being hit hard on the screws. Well. still say a 5 run lead, give hime the chance to get out of the inning with 77 pitches and 10 in a row.  Relievers still not refreshed from Tues. So Joe doesn't know his own pitchers. The non review was the game and Joe blew it.

Also Joe should have taken Dellin out upon walking that batter, as it's an automatic stolen base, also cost the ball game.

So Joe cost the gane in 3 or 4 ways. This is completely Joe and no one else....

I could deal with a loss if Kluber was stellar.  The pendulum swung the other direction with a 5 run lead. For sure excuses will be made to lighten the blow.  Cannot blame Yankees fans for being disgusted and heart broken.

I could taste the win with thoughts of Yankees coming back home with a split.  What a tease....

Yea he took CC out to soon with a spent pen. Green wasn't himself. He pushed Robertson to far. Who didn't think Betances wasn't going to blow it in his 3rd inning. As soon as the runner got on he should have pulled him.

Terrible night and I think he knows it.

I don't know about managed a great game tuesday. A lot of that was more to the credit of the relievers. He got length out of relievers that don't normally offer it. That said whatever magic that was done was killed tonight.

As for the season, if not for Judge doing unreal things the Yankees don't make the playoffs. He's great with players yes, But he manages in game poorly. You can get away with that when your team wants to play for you. But the moment you don't trust in a main guy like Sanchez and lose a game that badly that support goes away.
