It should be a pure salary dump. He is owed 66 million (22 million per year). Yankees eat 42 million , throw in 1 to 2 decent lower level prospects and call it a day.

Bats Posts: 7,985	They say that Seattle is the best fit for Ellsbury, being that he lives near the area and would likely waive his NTC. That location is the best and first place to start with. Gosh, I hate the idea that the Yankees are willing to eat half of that contract. Whoever's idea was it to sign Ellsbury, in the first place, should be the one to fit that bill. With the Yankees willing to pay half (or so), they won't need to attach any prospects to it.
