I think Sonny Gray will have a huge bounce back year, A whole Spring In Tampa with the Yankees and not having to worry about being traded mid season. Sonny Reminds me of a young Mike Mussina which Isnt a bad thing at all when he was young and most of his career Mike Mussina was a really good big game pitcher just got a lot of bad breaks come October was never on that right team that Clicked at the right time.,

Mussina had a Hall of Fame career, IMO. Gray is a middle of a rotation guy at this point. He looks like a solid pitcher, but not an ace.

I think Moose missed the Hall by just a few plays. The Benitez blown save that cost him a 20 game season for Baltimore. Carl Everett getting a hit to spoil the perfect game in the 9th in Boston. Arizona's blooper off Mo to deny Mike a World Series ring.

I think Mussina is a Hall Of Famer his numbers are almost identical to Curt Schillings numbers Mussina doesnt have WS Rings but not all Hall Of Famers have rings. thats not what its about its about your over all numbers. didnt Mussina finally win 20 in his final year or was it 19 wins?

Gray is a young Kid compared to Mussina when he retired and the A's stunk most of Grays time out in Oakland, Mussina's Orioles and Yankees teams were way better then Grays Oakland teams.

Dave Stewart is not in the HoF so I don't think Mussina will be.

Mussina was 270 - 153

Stewart was 168 - 129

Mussina deserves it abundantly more than Stewart!

I agree that Moose belongs in the Hall. Mike did win 20 in his last year. I just think that with a little more on his resume (a WS ring, a perfect game and two 20 game seasons instead of only one) he would have had more votes.

I wish Sonny Gray will perform as good as Mussina did.

Neither are close on lifetime numbers.  At least with Stewart you can point out his dominance from 87-90.  I can't see either getting in.
