I think David Cone would be an awesome pitching coach if his heart were in it.  He went from thrower to finesse and returned from injuries.  He also seems to be a student of the game very tuned in to everything going on like Alex Rodriguez.

I have always thought Cone would have a lot to offer to the pitching staff. Rodriguez and his movie star girl friends should stay on the red carpet, IMO.
