There's your terrrific news media Libbies....so fair and unbiased aren't they.

CNN contributor April Ryan is being criticized for alerting her 336,000 Twitter followers to a story in The Root that asks if the Trump administration is involved in child sex-trafficking.

Among those condemning Ryan for the tweet is first lady Melania Trump’s spokeswoman.

“If you’re a journalist w many followers & a @CNNPolitics contributor...is it ok to retweet any headline you want, regardless of if it’s true?” Stephanie Grisham asked on Twitter. “Remember: 'The core purpose of a journalist is to research, document, write, & present the news in an honest, ethical, & unbiased way.'”

Grisham may have been most disturbed by the headline of The Root article: “Is the Trump administration running a child-trafficking ring or nah? Follow me down the rabbit hole.”

Ryan responded later Sunday in a tweet: “So apparently fox just wants to slam me for clicks. and never read the article I retweeted either. Lol! So sad! Hello it said the conspiracies were unfounded. You just need me to hate. Thank you!!”

She also tweeted a link to her book.

Ryan, who is also the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks, initially tweeted the article without comment. The Root is an online magazine of African-American culture.

So why should “alt-righters” have all the fun peddling disproven and unfounded conspiracy theories, writes The Root political editor Jason Johnson, who goes on to suggest one of his own.

“Now it turns out that the Trump administration may have an equally implausible conspiracy on its hands: Is the administration involved in child sex trafficking or just white nationalism? Follow me down the rabbit hole and see for yourself,” Johnson says in the article, published Friday.

Many of those who bashed Ryan on Twitter questioned how a professional journalist could associate herself with such a story.

“April Ryan has gone pizzagate on Trump,” tweeted Steve Robinson, who produces the Howie Carr radio talk show.

CNN'S APRIL RYAN HIT FOR SAYING MELANIA TRUMP IS 'NOT CULTURALLY AMERICAN'

“This is a horrid excuse for journalism,” Carmine Sabia tweeted. “To quasi accuse the president of the United States of running a child trafficking ring is low even for her.”

“Case solved,” Michael Sheridan tweeted. He pointed out that The Root is owned by Univision, whose president and CEO criticized Trump during the presidential campaign.

AMERICAN " journalist " April Ryan of CNN also went after the First Lady

CNN's April Ryan hit for saying Melania Trump is 'not culturally American'

Critics are slamming CNN contributor April Ryan for suggesting that First Lady Melania Trump is "not culturally American" when discussing the “Be Best” campaign to combat cyberbullying on Monday night.

“This is a first lady who is not culturally American, but she is learning the ways and this is not just an American issue. These are not just American issues,” Ryan told “OutFront” host Erin Burnett. “These are international issues. Cyberbullying is an international issue. Social media is international and also the opioid addiction issue, so it’s not just here, but it’s abroad as well.”

CNN did not respond to a request for clarification.

The first lady was born in Slovenia but has been an American citizen since 2006 and has lived in the country since 1996.

NewsBusters Managing Editor Curtis Houck told Fox News that “Ryan showing that she's anything but a journalist” and is more of a liberal advocate.

“Her comments are absurd considering how long the first lady has lived in this country,” Houck said. “Regardless of one's views of the president, the first lady is an example of 'Only in America' could this be possible.”

This isn’t the first time Ryan has caused a stir and Houck said her “comments about the president and behavior in the briefing room show Trump Derangement Syndrome in full force.”

Conservative commentator Carmine Sabia told Fox News that he remembers “when people were called racist” for saying the same thing about President Barack Obama.

“I also remember people like April Ryan saying that we are a nation of immigrants. This is racism and reprehensible and she should be ashamed,” Sabia said.

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck agrees and took to Twitter to blast Ryan for the comment.

“April Ryan - I know when some said that Obama wasn’t fully ‘culturally American’ reporters cried racism. Now that you, a reporter, are saying the same, can they cry racism? Or do you just hate foreigners? Wow, this is easy, I see why the left likes it,” Beck wrote.

White House Director of Strategic Response Steven Cheung wrote, “What does that even mean? On a day when Mrs. Trump unveiled a very important initiative #BeBest, reporters can't bring themselves to talk about anything but rumors and innuendo.”

Ryan twisted Sarah Sanders' words on Thursday night in order to make the absurd suggestion that the White House press secretary is looking for a physical confrontation with the star reporter.

After Ryan asked a combative question during Thursday’s press briefing, accusing Sanders of being "blindsided" by comments Rudy Giuliani recently made on Fox News, Sanders told Ryan, “Well, with all due respect, you actually don’t know much about me in terms of what I feel and what I don't.”

Ryan misquoted Sanders while speaking to CNN colleague Don Lemon on-air afterwards, claiming the press secretary said, “You don’t know me,” before declaring the phrase to be fighting words.

“For Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the presidential spokesperson, the mouthpiece for the President of the United States, to say, ‘You don’t know me,’ in certain quarters in this nation, that starts a physical fight,” Ryan said. “I was very shocked. It was street. I will even go beyond that, it was gutter.”

Ryan also famously accused Sanders of lying about whether or not she baked a pie for Thanksgiving.

Good point Yankfan. I guess Craner didn't read his own post because here is what April Ryan said about the article......."So apparently fox just wants to slam me for clicks. and never read the article I retweeted either. Lol! So sad! Hello it said the conspiracies were unfounded. You just need me to hate"

That wasn't nice for her to say. But I find it amusing that you posted that after some AMERICAN CON "journalists and CON politicians" were saying that Obama wasn't an American citizen. Funny, but I don't remember any outrage from you about that.

Trump goes after the Khan family for speaking out in support of Hillary Clinton at the Democratic convention.

“Go look at the graves of brave patriots who died defending the United States of America. You will see all faiths, genders, and ethnicities. You have sacrificed nothing — and no one,” Khizr Khan said.

In the days that followed the statement, Trump went into full attack mode. He did everything from claim Khan’s wife wasn’t allowed to speak because she is a Muslim wife. He claimed he made sacrifices because he “created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures.” He even began spreading a conspiracy theory that came from some right-wing fever dream that Khan was secretly a “Muslim Brotherhood agent.”

It’s been almost two years and Trump has never apologized.

Donnie the Lunatic, here is your chance to man-up and apologize.  But of course,

you will not.

Another good point MYF. Cons seem to have a selective memory.

I seem to remember craner saying many things that were not what I would call appropriate about Mrs. Obama as well as Hillary, do you suppose he recalls any of those... Even a couple of pictures... But it's funny how craner can remember some things and not others ??

I haven't heard one person say that Obama wasn't an American citizen.  Many said that he wasn't a natural born citizen but they're just repeating publications approved by Obama himself.  He was not qualified to be President because of this and never should have been allowed to run.
