Pop-up ad in yesterday's game (and others)... "Wells Fargo, Re-Inventing How We Serve You". Nice slogan (as are all of corporate America's slogans, for which they pay handily), but what does it *mean*? Are they going to start charging lower interest on their loans? Pay higher interest on their savings accounts? Reduce the CEO's salary? Of course not.
They're not gonna do diddly. It's a nice slogan to suck us suckers into doing business with them.
I defy them to point to one specific example of how they're "re-inventing how [they] serve [us]." Just one.
And I'm not singling out Wells Fargo. The same could be said of Delta, ExxonMobil, Ford Motor Company, etc. etc. etc.
The system works. For them. We get table scraps and slogans.
