I know I will. Him and his $300M/10 year contract has albatross headache written all over it. If Cashman-Hal falls for it, then they must be the stupidest people on earth. After seeing all these large contracts turn out badly over the years. Pujols, Crawford, Ellsbury, Cano, Hamilton, Heyward, Arod, Tex, Panda, Cabrera, Choo, Vernon Wells, Swisher, etc.

Fool the Yankees once, shame on you. Fool the Yankees twice (and more), shame on Cashman-Hal.

I'm sticking to what I said. If Machado signs with the Yankees, I'm leaving this messageboard for good, because I won't be following the Yankees as long as he's on the team. I'm tired of seeing Yankee tradition slip away, and having a spoiled billionaire wannabe thug on the team won't make my feelings rest any better.

Absolutely! In my opinion the best signing for the Yankees this offseason, will be Machado signing with another team.

Why do you always put out there that if something happens you are going to leave the board and/or not follow the Yankees ... it's getting old ... if you're a Yankee fan nothing should stop you from participating on a Yankee message board and following your team.

With that being said, I hope you have a very nice Christmas and New Years.

I would overpay for Scooter Gennett if he is available.  The thing that would scare me the most is if we go into 2019 without a middle infield defensive and middle of the order offensive stopgap while Gregorius is healing.  Ideally I want four starters for the outfield, four starters for 2B, 3B, and SS, two starters for 1B, and two starters for C with DH left open for partial rest.  Injuries are a part of the game and I want to field viable starters every game.

I don't want to see Hanser Alberto, Thario Estrada, or Tyler Wade manning SS or 2B for half the season waiting for Didi to return.

Mo, I agree.  Just a cry for attention.   Believe it when you see it.

Louisiana, my thinking is the same.  No minor leaguers (Tyler Wade in particular) trying to find their way in the majors.  Get someone who can cut it.

Merry Christmas to all!!!

Ideally I want to be 26 years old forever and look as good in tight pants as El Guapo. But sometimes we have to settle for a little less !

THE Phillies is going to blow the Yankees out of the water . The Dodgers are going to do this same with Harper.

My! How things have changed . George would have insisted on  both and Corbin.

Is that your opinion or a fact?
