Tulo is going to be another Stephen Drew.  He only played 66 games the past two seasons and is injury-prone.  He's well past his prime.

So what do we do?  Sign him for 1 year with full no-trade protection?  Stupid move. 

We would have been MUCH better off re-sgining Hechavarria (sp?) & Toe and they could have  filled the void until Didi gets back. At least Toe is a contact hitter and Hech can get his hits as well. 

That was our problem last year--too many people swinging for the fence.  It was all or nothing.  The Sux weren't better than us--they just played differently and went for the hits.  We  struck out a lot by going for the homers, resulting in too many LOBs.

Tulo is just going to an automatic out on the lineup.

Thoughts?

He's making $500K ? If he doesnt work out or accept a trade ...you release him. It's basically a free move

They signed him for the league minimum 555,000.  Toronto is stuck paying the rest of his contract.  They can dfa him any time they want.
