Bryce Harper Needs to be a Yankee!!

Why does he need to be a Yankee?  You always need to find a player to sure up your weakness. Machado doesn't come here to do that. With our infielders now and Didi coming back we are set. But let us look at the outfield. We are set with Judge and Stanton could play outfield if we need. But he is mostly our DH.  Hicks is a free agent after this year. If he has a great year how much are we willing to sign him? And what about if he doesn't have a year like last but more like the first. Than we go to left field. Can we trust Brett Gardner to be the old Brett. He is 1 years older and he needs games off. Then we have the Frazier Factor. Will he recover from these headaches and will he not get hurt again. We seen flashes only when he is on the field. We have nothing in the minors.  Florial is still in Single A and batted .254.  And next year free agent outfielders are thin. Best of the bunch is our own Hicks, Puig, Kemp or Ozuna.
So I say Harper will be perfect between Judge who bats right and Stanton who bats right. I think the Yankees can land Harper and his on base % of .388 and OPS of 900 in his career to the Bronx where you know those stats will go up in this lineup. Imagine this player got 130 walks and still hit 34 HRS and 100 RBI.  These pitchers weren't giving him anything to hit and he produced but Imagine him getting protected in the Lineup.  And he is willing to learn first base if we needed him there in the pinch.  Make it Happen Cashman.   I really think Harper will take a 5 year contract of 165 million with a sixth year option of 35 million.  Sure he may get an 8 year contract worth 270 to 300 million but he will still be in his prime if he outs out after 5 years. And he would be a Yankee. And you know that is important to him.

Hicks and Harper have nothing to do with each other.  Harper is a bad defender and cannot play CF.  If Hicks is gone after this year, even with Harper the Yankees would still need a CFer.

New York Yankees rumors: Bryce Harper unveils clean-shaven look (Video)

Where is Bryce Harper going to sign? Cue the speculation with his newest look at the batting cages.

As a true legend named Michael Scott once proclaimed, “Oh my goodness, it’s happening!”

At least that’s what New York Yankees fans are exclaiming after seeing Bryce Harper in the batting cages sporting a whole new, hairless look.

Harper’s Instagram story showed him taking some cuts in the batting cages without his signature facial hair. We all know who plays without facial hair (via George Steinbrenner) and we all know who has the money to pay the man.

He still remains unsigned and now he’s throwing out signals like a drunk girl at the bar. Does he have to spell it out for you, Brian Cashman? The man wants in with the pinstripes.

What does he have to do? Wear a giant sign around his neck declaring, “Sign me, Yankees,” while parading around Yankee Stadium? Harper has spoken loud and clear without saying as much as a word.

While the Yankees may not be all in on Harper, he is definitely all in on them. I mean, why else would he shave? To eliminate wind resistance as he’s prancing through the outfield? Because the beard-grooming routine was getting too difficult? Or because he wants to play on the New York Yankees?

There truly is only one logical solution and it involves Brian Cashman and a massive check.

Fans are definitely going insane at seeing Harper in his clean-shaven state, just like they did when he conveniently appeared beardless in the Bronx before the Yankees’ series against the Nationals last season.

Bryce Harper has lit the fires of speculation and it will continue to rage uncontrollably until Harper finally signs. Yankees fans have been wandering this offseason through a desert without even a sip of water. Bryce Harper just provided all the water they’ll ever need with one thirst-inducing, clean-shaven video.

Could Bryce Harper be on the move to the Bronx? If his grooming skills are any indication, Yankees better start betting on having another outfielder on their roster come Opening Day.

Yankees fans have crawled through the desert of this off-season with only a sip of lukewarm water (Paxton). Write the check already, Brian.

No. No. and No.  I don't want his attitude in our town, not to mention his skill is highly overrated.

Highly Overrated.  He hit 34 HRS and 100 RBI with 134 walks playing in that lineup. Are you kidding. And this wasn't a good year.  And who are you going to get to replace Gardner. Frazier is always hurt and has concussion and headaches. That doesn't go away.

What's wrong with his "attitude"? Yanks could use a little fire.
