With the Season almost starting and us watching some of the Spring Training games what free agent that is still out there that you would either interview or eventually sign for the yankees now. With pitching always needed and with Hicks and Severino's injury I am giving you a list of players who are left that you might consider. Or you can just stay pat. So the list includes Dallas Keuchel, Gio Gonzalez, James Shields, Bartolo Colon, Yovani Gallardo, Chris Tillman Carlos Gonzalez, Chris Young or Denard Spahn. Just want to see what you think.

I don't think the Yanks have to do anything else....unless Severino has a significant setback and is out much longer than late April/early May. If that happens, I could see them going after someone like Gio.....

I don't think this pitching staff has enough innings in them to win the division.

OK so you are happy with 2 of the following 3 in the starting rotation at the start of the season: Cessa, German and Loaisiga!! If so I have a bridge to sell you. the latter 2 have struggled thi sspring and Cessa is having the typical fool you spring. looks good and then first time he pitches line score will be 3 inning spitched, 5 runs given up and lets use up th eentire bullpen. Not buying it anymore. Tired of the SOS every year with the starting rotation. The fact that Luis Cessa is even on this roster is a joke.

You're going to have 2 of those 3 in the rotation regardless of who you sign now. They won't be ready for opening day. Loaisaga hasn't "struggled"; he had 1 bad outing that has inflated his stats. German also hasn't "struggled"; he has a WHIP of 1.17 and has almost 2 K's per inning. He's only walked 1 in 7 2/3 which is very encouraging because we all know German has the stuff. Command is the issue. Cessa, in my opinion, is hot garbage, so I really don't think much of his spring.

Their SP needed serious help and here they are once agine juggling 4 AAA pitchers to start 30+ games.

Hey bruner, I'm not sure any of us would be happy with Cessa German or Loaisiga making multiple starts at this point. If Cessa keeps it together, and German keeps it together, we can get by. I think we are going to be stuck with those two, because the FO doesn't seem ready to do anything to help. Guess it's time for the kids to get it done. They need to know it's time for them to produce, or be gone!

The current pitching staff the Yankees have will rarely be a healthy 5 man rotation this year. I think Cashman should offer Dallas Keuchel a 2 year deal, get him to cut off that beard, and pitch for the Yankees.

Of course I don’t like any of our reserve options....Loaisiga/Cessa don’t exactly breed confidence. But from what I’ve read, CC and Sevy should be back late April/early May. So no need to panic and sign another FA.

I think you're a much more reasonable poster than some of the folks complaining about the pitching, so I'll address this to you. You're probably right. The current starting rotation probably isn't going to be enough... and that isn't really a problem. Teams don't build "World Series Caliber" rotations entering spring training, and even if they do intend to they are still probably going to end up needing help by the trade deadline.
Think about it. The Red Sox needed to go out and add Eovaldi last year. The Astros needed to get Verlander. The Royals traded for Cueto in 2015. There's plenty of examples. The best strategy seems to be to bring a good rotation to camp with some depth to hold the team over during minor injuries, then to make a trade at the deadline to reinforce. I believe the Yankees have the first two componenets of this strategy. They'll add at the deadline if they have to.
