Damn after yesterdays game Boone was giving reports on the injured players, he said Severino was throwing from over 100 feet and everything was going fine, things must have changed after his throwing that far ??

Severino had been long-tossing without issue for a few weeks but has now hit a bump in the road to his recovery. The initial MRI on his right shoulder back in early March showed rotator cuff inflammation, but we'll have to now wait and see whether the ailment might have gotten worse. Even if the diagnosis is unchanged, his timetable could be pushed back considerably.

If he is back before July I’d be surprised... if he is back at all... my gut feeling is he will miss the whole year... not good news regardless. I wonder if they try and sign kuechel now.

still hoping for the best outcome for sevy but agree don't like the sound of this. unfortunately might be time to kick the tires on keuchel.

Tanaka really needs to step up. They need to look at pitching that might be available through trade or FA. This team is a team built to win. We're not talking 2 years ago about a team that was on the come.

not Tommy John if it the shouder. Shoulder surgery (and no one has said it yet) would likely be Rotator Cuff and that's far worse for a pitcher
