TackleSchool: Kentucky | Conference: SEC HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-4.5 / 305 | 40: 5.32 | DRAFT YR:2019 RankingsGrade 3.10 Pos: Underrated offensive tackle who started the past two seasons for Kentucky on the right side. Sets with a wide base, bends his knees and shows quickness in all aspects of his game. Displays outstanding strength as a blocker, keeps his feet moving and turns defenders off the line on running downs. Stays square, anchors in pass protection and effectively uses his hands. Solid position blocker who fires off the snap into blocks and seals defenders from the action. Patient, makes outstanding use of angles in pass protection and keeps his feet moving. Neg: May lack the size, athleticism and footwork to stay at tackle and could eventually be moved inside to guard. Lacks great bulk. Analysis: Asafo-Adjei entered the season graded as a priority free agent and may end up on the outside looking when all seven rounds are completed, but he's a legitimate prospect for the next level. Asafo-Adjei possesses the size, fundamentals and feel for blocking that could help him make an active roster as an inexpensive utility lineman.
