I know what he said publicly. But my question for Trumpies is...When the news came out about the FBI searching Mar-a-Largo do you think DeSantis and some of his supporters smiled?
I'm sure they were grinning from ear to ear. Now they can jump on the Ds are violating fat boys civil rights bandwagon. They might even be the source that tipped off the DOJ/FBI about trumpets mishandling of classifed documents.
Since that is a criminal offense, a guilty verdict will prevent the gilded turd from running for any federal office. DeSantis just had the 280 pound insurmountable hurdle removed without getting his hands dirty or alienating the trumpies. Maybe McConnell or others made the call but either way, DeSantis was the beneficiary of the GOP's sordid plan. Ron then lashed out in front of the cameras with feigned indignancy, flailing his arms and running his mouth about the "weaponization of federal agancies" and "banana republics." What a joke. What an amazing actor. Sir Lawrence O has nothing on DeSantis and the GOP. But you don't fool me, Ron.
This is todays GOP. A bunch of clowns who can't hide behind the good, wholesoeme family values mantra anymore. A party who sold their souls without flinching. They squeeze the proletariat telling us to tighten our belts while opening the floodgates so their puppetmasters, the fat cats and corporatists who funnel cash their way, can reap the monetary rewards.
Think about it. What has the GOP ever done for the average Joe? They failed on healthcare. They failed on our infrastructure. They are failing on civil rights. They failed on the 'rona. They failed on calling out Russia for their illegal landgrab. They failed on calling out the Saudi's for their part in 911 and the Kashoggi murder after trumpet welcomed their money with open arms in Bedminster.
Why the hell does anyone vote for these azzholes? All they ever accomplished was overturning Roe v Wade and that will cost them dearly.
