First ... paying off hookers didn't happen "while he was in office", which was the premise of your question.  It's also not illegal to enter into a non-disclosure agreement with another person.

Second... obstruction of justice.  There is no proof that Trump obstructed justice.  Show me proof and I'll consider it.

Third ... making money on his businesses.  That's a plain old joke.  Obama made millions by funnelling projects to companies in which he had heavy investments.  Bush and Cheney, same deal.  Clinton and Gore, same deal.  Unless you want to freeze all of a president's assets and force them to put all of their investments into government bonds while they're president, you're not going to stop them from making money.  The fact is that Trump is just doing it in a different way, not as a shareholder, but as a business owner (which in essence, shareholers are business owners).

Ding ding ding. But you don't even have to go that far, you can just put their assets in a blind trust.

Meanwhile, Trump still owns the Trump organization and directly profits from the presidency as a result. He isn't even pretending, he cut the middle man right out and put public money into Trump properties.

The proof Trump obstructed Justice is in volume 2 of the mueller report. I believe there are about 10 instances discussed.

The concept of a blind trust is a joke.  If President Obama, as he did, invested significantly in green alternatives and then passed a bill giving contracts to green alternative companies, he is profiting.  Of course, you'll say that he invested in things he believed in and it's just coincidence that he would profit off of those investments because he signed off on things in which he believed.  The same argument can be made with Dick Cheney and his investments in military suppliers.  What's the best way to increase his profits?  Start a war.

Every president is going to profit because he's going to make decisions theoretically consistent with the business he has done in the years prior to him becoming president.  Sure, Trump's profit is more direct, but every one of them has profited.  The only way to stop that would be to literally force them to put all their assets into a safe.  Hell, even government bonds wouldn't do the trick because he has every way to influence them.

Divest your holdings, put them into a blind trust, and have a trustee that oversees your investments for you. If you admit it failed in the past, fine there are simple ways to make it better.

But to throw up your hands and say that Trump isn't at fault when he's directly profiting from the presidency is a joke. I'm getting really tired of people's whattaboutism when it comes to him being a grifter.

"No, i specified crimes AFTER he took office" as though that should matter. According to GOP congressman, "You don’t even have to be convicted of a crime to lose your job in this constitutional republic. If this body determines that your conduct as a public official is clearly out of bounds in your role because Impeachment is not about punishment, impeachment is about cleansing the office.”

He went on TV and admitted he fired Comey to shut down the Russia stuff. There's a 3 word term for that

First of all, you don't "lose your job" with impeachment, so that argument is senseless.

As far as firing Comey, he relieved an appointed official of his duties because he did not follow the instructions of the appointer.  Comey freely admitted that he didn't prosecute Hillary because the Obama administration told him not to.  He used the FBI and hired a bunch of political hacks to discredit the Trump campaign.  He used the FBI to spy on the Trump campaign.  When all of this information came to light and the assertions that Trump was "crazy" to think the FBI was spying on his campaign were false, he had plenty of reason to fire Comey the political hack.  He was a shame to a great organization that has done great work for so many years.

If the argument is senseless, don't tell it to me, tell it to the GOP congressman who made the argument.

Trump fired Comey because Comey was unfair to hillary. Yeah, you retrumplicans will believe literally anything even when Trump said otherwise himself on TV

The shame to the FBI is the mud that retrumplicans have been slinging on them for the entirety of the investigation only to - oops, it turns out it was a fair investigation and they didn't manufacture charges of conspiracy against trump.

Don't forget that Trump doubled down to the Russians about what he told Lester Holt on why he fired Comey.

Cons? Where's the outrage? You know the kind of outrage that was posted here criticizing African Americans that were protesting the Police. Yeah, those anti-Police chants were disgusting, but what do you have to say about this article?..............

Why would the Dems send the police after Republicans just because they walked out?

Sounds like something you might hear about in 1930’s Germany.

You're dancing around words again. I didn't ask anyone to answer my question with another question. So let's try again........

It’s bad that he threatened the police.

It’s also bad that Democratic governors and mayors who will order their cops not to assist ICE in arresting and deporting criminal illegal aliens, have no problem with sending the same cops after Republican lawmakers simply because they walked out of session.

It’s mind boggling actually.

You don't have to look very far for examples of "law & order conservatives" defying and threatening federal and local law enforcement...

Yep Bobby, when that stuff at the Bundy ranch was happening I made sure to let the Cons here know that their silence and their lack of criticism on the topic was noted.

Kinda strange. I mean "conservatives" are all about law & order and supporting law enforcement, right? And, of course, the GOP is the party of law enforcement...as we've observed with the 911 first responders victims fund. Undecided
