Humans are not made differently in the U.S. It is the easy access to guns, the lack of comprehensive background checks and the advocacy of the notion that an armed society is a safe society that are key factors driving the slaughter that is taking place in America.

Quite the opposite ... I think you are the one that needs to take your head out of the Trump hatred sand ... I can't stand Trump, but I realize that not every time someone shoots up a place it's because of Trump ... the Ohio shooting is already in question ... the gunman killed his sister ... that was not a Trump related shooting. Also we've had these shootings taking placee long before Trump ... Obama even made a statement that he couldn't stand having to address the nation over another shooting ... he was very upset by them.

His rhetoric emboldens white supremacist and those sitting on the fence to take action. In not so many words, Trump's action demonstrates his concerns for the browning of America. His solution is to send "breeders" back to where they came from. White nationalist have another remedy to the same problem...shoot them, make them fearful, whatever it takes to stem the tide. Trump didn't pull the trigger, but his continuous racist remarks is heard to provide those a reason to take up arms. As we heard in his rallies hyping up the attendees to a fever pitch shouting...shoot them!!! I wouldn't be surprise if he walks back his words.

I find that Trump's words can incite violence and that he is most likely responsible for the actions of a portion of the shootings ... but I also think we can't just put a blanket on all of the shootings that says Trump ... as I told Bertram, the Ohio shooter shot his sister along with the other people ... and Obama was very upset about so many shootings long before Trump took office.

Lets face it, racism and bigotry is part and parcel of America's history. There is no going around it. Unlike Trump, previous presidents denounce it...striving for unity as a country. Trump promotes devisiveness demonstrating resentfulness that is clearly heard.

There are lots of firers burning is this country right now (sick people), donald always seems to find a way to fan those fires.. I'm not going to blame donald for all of this, I blame the person that fired the gun, but when you have people shouting out of the crowds at some of donald's rallies saying what to do with the illegals and they say shoot them, and all donald does is smile and shrug his shoulders, I find that inexcusable on his part.. I remember when Sen McCain was running for POTUS and that women at one if his rallies starting running down Obama, Sen McCain stopped her and tole her Obama was a good man a good family man, does anyone think donald would do something like that ??? Still donald runs down Sen. McCain every chance he gets... The real blame should be in the hands of the legislators and the NRA they cling to 2nd amendment and I'm sure our forefathers never intended for what they meant was for the AR style of guns that people are using in this country right now in all these vicious murders ??

The vast majority of victims of non-gang/drug related mass shootings are white. How the hell does this have ANYTHING to do with your contrived thought that Trump is advancing white nationalist rhetoric?
There is only one correct answer to addressing gun violence. It needs to be studied to find the causes. Gun laws have been proven not to work as a vast majority of mass shootings are in "gun free zones" or in states with tough gun laws. I wouldn't pass anything that the Democrats currently have on the table because they're just throwing restricitions on the table that have either no evidence to prove their effectiveness or actually have evidence to the contrary.
The one area that I'll agree that there needs to be some movement is the studying of violence (gun and otherwise) and its causes. Then and only then can you make "common sense" changes to our laws or society to make it safer. I think a real study will find answers you don't want to hear...Democrat educational policies have stopped people from getting treatment early in life and Democrats shuttering mental health facilities has left more people on the streets that should be in treatment.
It's not contrived. People always cling to mental health when it comes to things like this.
