Great game and win. We have a number 1 line that is dangerous. Mika and Panarin are scary. Mika scores a hat trick, 1 goal at full strength one goal on the power play, and one goal short handed. Doesn't get much better then that. The great Gordie Howe has what the call a Gordie Howe Hat Trick which for him was a goal, an assist, and a fight. I guess Mika can have a new kind of Hat Trick. Rangers 2 wins, no losses. Great start. Just waiting for our #2 pick Kaapo Kakko, to get his first goal. Kid is only 18 yrs old and looks great. Not looking for Miricles, but this will be a very exciting season.

Wow! 8 points for Mika in 2 games. Brassard who? I don't expect him to average 4 points a game but he has really improved


It is way early to get giddy but so far I'm really impressed.


Panarin and Trouba play as advertised. Kakko is still 18 so he needs a year or two to learn to play in the NHL. Staal gets their first goal of the season. Who saw that coming! 


HL got the win but let in 4 goals. Giorgiev looks great and the one that got by was a dirty goal that an octopus could not stop. I heard Quinn say that HL and AG will split the netminding duties like other succesful NHL teams do now. But if HL chokes I get the impression that Quinn has no allegience towards  him.


This week off between games absolutely sucks. The Blackhawks have only played 1 game so far.

He quiz, how are you. Nice to hear from you. I agree with your take on the Rangers.
The schedule is so rediculous. Makes no sense. Play 2 games only and then no game for more then a week. I know Coach Quinn was not happy at all.
