"I think Jan. 6 really disqualifies him for the future. And so, we move beyond that," said the Arkansas governor, who's considering his own run for the presidency.

The list of Republicans speaking out against Trump's 2024 run is slowly growing.  Will The Orange Menace go third party?

When trumpet stole the election with 3 million less votes because of the antiquated and unfair EC, I made a comment here that fat boy proved that old adage true. That anyone, anyone can grow up to become President. And the idiot never even grew up, just out.

He truly is obtuse as well as obese. He has to be the dumbest phuck in politics. The incessant stream of blatant lies roll off his tongue with ease and the MAGA suckers eat it up.

He is finished politically and he knows it. Of course he is too arrogant to admit it so he waddles on. I still hope he is hard headed enought to run as an I after the GOP disses him for DeSantis.

I would not put it past the GOP to make a deal to shield or pardon him from the plethora of charges he is facing if he drops out of the race.

No matter what happens in '24 we all lose. The damage to Congress and the SCOTUS is done.

Engaging in a cover-up for the Worst President Ever Benito Trump.

McCarthy says he's willing to look at expunging a Trump impeachment

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Thursday that he’s willing to take a look at expunging an impeachment of former president Donald Trump by the Democratic-led House.

Trump — now a 2024 candidate — was impeached twice during his four-year presidency: in 2019, for withholding military aid from Ukraine in exchange for political favors, and in 2021, for inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

In the previous Congress, groups of Republicans floated resolutions to expunge both impeachments. Supporters of the latter included Rep. Elise Stefanik (N.Y.), the Republican conference chairwoman.

Asked at a news conference about the prospect of an expungement now that Republicans control the House, McCarthy said, “I would understand why members would want to bring that forward.”

Koch Network, Aiming to 'Turn the Page' on Trump, Will Play in the G.O.P. Primaries

The donor network created by the billionaire industrialist brothers Charles G. and David H. Koch is preparing to get involved in the presidential primaries in 2024, with the aim of turning “the page on the past” in a thinly veiled rebuke of former President Donald J. Trump, according to an internal memo.

The network, which consists of an array of political and advocacy groups backed by hundreds of ultrawealthy conservatives, has been among the most influential forces in American politics over the past 15 years, spending nearly $500 million supporting Republican candidates and conservative policies in the 2020 election cycle alone. But it has never before supported candidates in presidential primaries.

The potential move against Mr. Trump could motivate donors to line up behind another prospective candidate. Thus far, only the former president has entered the race.

The memo is set to go out to the affiliated activists and donors after a weekend conference in Palm Springs, Calif., where the network’s leaders laid out their goals for the next presidential election cycle. At various sessions, they made clear they planned to get involved in primaries for various offices, and early.

According to John Bolton trump begged Xi for help in 2020. Tough to be strong when begging.

In 2015, then-President Obama imposed stronger regulations on trains carrying oil and toxic chemicals. In 2018, Crackhead Donnie Trump got rid of them.

Oregon Public Broadcasting reported in 2015, “Federal transportation regulators in the U.S. and Canada released a sweeping set of final rules Friday with more stringent requirements for railroads hauling flammable liquids, including crude oil and ethanol…The Department of Transportation rules would require new electronic brake systems for all trains carrying flammable liquids at speeds above 30 miles per hour by the year 2021. Current air brake technology has been in use for more than a century.”

The rail industry didn’t like these new safety rules. They threw a bunch of money at Trump and the GOP, and guess what happened in 2018?

Trump rolled back Obama’s train regulations.

Oregon Public Broadcasting reported in 2018, “The U.S. Department of Transportation, which has been working on rescinding the rules since last December, said in statement this week that its analysis showed the cost of requiring railroads to equip trains with the new brakes outweighed the potential benefits.”

This specific policy of Trump’s overturned an Obama policy, a reversal of which at the very least appears to have contributed to the Ohio train disaster.
