Missed that but not concerned about what you think about me.  I read your MO a long time ago.  I pop in now and again to see how MYF, Max, Prof, Lauren, Newinn, and Bert explain away or ignore the latest regression.  Just been busy.

You keep saying you're "not concerned about what (I) think about (you)" but your posts strongly suggest otherwise. Won't presume to speak for anyone else, but you also seem very concerned with other's opinions of yourself as well, which I interpret to be not very flattering since you've been outed as the fascist you are.

I will say that I do personally miss your presence. Always a good thing to inject a little comic relief into the adult discussions. You and your twin brother of a different mother fill that role admirably.

Your silly modern definition of fascist wasn't worth a response, it didn't even have any relation to the origin of fascism.  “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State”  was not very respectful of individual liberty, competition, and blind justice.

My "silly modern definition of fascist" is far more accurate than your definition of "socialist", which you've readily admitted is used to influence the ignorant. And you're definitely a fascist...by the truest definition.

Anyone who continues to support a treasonous sc-bag, as you do, is just as much an enemy of this country and democracy as he and his minions are. I'll leave it to others to play nice.

Kudos to Americans who are done playing nice.  The Trump Travesty has gone way too far, and the almost unquestioning support that the GOP has given him is a black mark on our history, threatens our very democracy and marks us as a target for scorn from the community of nations who rightfully expect better from this nation.

As I said...his job was to rid the country of the cancer that is Trump and his minions. Hero!!

As for inflation...it's a worldwide issue, for which there are many reasons...

Recently had a discussion with one of my nephews re current inflation issue. He said there are several contributing factors, stimulus money being by far the least, if at all.

He happens to be a conservative leaning economics professor at University of Chicago, so I’ll take his analysis over that of a message board wannabe know-it-all blowhard.

We are the primary contributing factor in global inflation.  Is it any wonder that we dumped $7 trillion into the economy and finally are seeing a $7 trillion downturn in the stock market?  The problem is it is the little guys, pensioners and the middle class that lost their money.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again...I'm going with the professor's analysis. In fact, he says Biden has almost no control over the causes of inflation. If anything, he says Powell acted too slowly.
Powell did of course act too slow but it was politically motivated by his predecessor who is now our Treasury Secretary.  Larry Summers told us what would happen if they continued Yellen's plan but we have been playing MMT.  As for the nobel economists that Biden keeps touting Yellen's husband is one of them and they are all extreme idealogues.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So...a conservative leaning Professor of Economics at one of the country's most prestigious universities should take a back seat to a baseball message board pretentious know-it-all. I'll have to ponder that.

I'm not saying he was wrong, I am saying you may not have been asking the right questions.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good point. Had you been "asking the right questions" he would've laughed at your typically sophomoric analysis and moved on to a more sane discussion.
Your posts demonstrate such maturity.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks.

BTW...I've been chided by far-right whacko compadre of yours for "yelling" at you. Sorry...snowflake.

Missed that but not concerned about what you think about me.  I read your MO a long time ago.  I pop in now and again to see how MYF, Max, Prof, Lauren, Newinn, and Bert explain away or ignore the latest regression.  Just been busy.

Are you projecting? I'm asking since you have made so many bs excuses for Trump and DeSantis.

As for me, I don't ignore nor explain away anything. I don't know, maybe it looks that way if someone is living in a political bubble.

I'm not here to change anyone's mind. I been posting here less like I said I would, since there's no discussing things with some people who seem to think they know better than the majority of climate scientists and the majority of health experts, etc. If those experts words aren't good enough then what I post on any topic isn't going to register. Not my problem if some people want to swim in the pool of ignorance. I don't mind discussing and hearing a different point of view, but not a different reality.

The cynical Murdoch gang is trying to play this from both ends.

Of course, The Orange Menace should not run again.  That is a no-brainer at this point.  He should have been in prison some time ago.  And he better be in prison before the 2024 elections take place.
