(a) No person shall solicit votes in any manner or by any means or method, nor shall any person distribute or display any campaign material, nor shall any person solicit signatures for any petition, nor shall any person, other than election officials discharging their duties, establish or set up any tables or booths on any day in which ballots are being cast:

(1) Within 150 feet of the outer edge of any building within which a polling place is established;

(2) Within any polling place;  or

(3) Within 25 feet of any voter standing in line to vote at any polling place.

How is any of that controversial?  It sound's like Scully's men buying a bowl of soup or giving two dollars for a vote from the novel The Jungle.  Bring your own beverage, no soliciting votes in the line to vote.

If a Yankee fan is standing on a long line waiting for tickets and a Red Sox fan gives that Yankee fan a bottle of water. Does that Yankee fan suddenly become a Red Sox fan? lol

There has been a long history of paying for votes.  This should not be controlversial.

 More voter suppression tactics by big government con artists based on the big lie that three Democratic victories statewide were rigged.  Can't have that on a Republican Plantation.

Georgia governor signed a voter suppression law under a painting of a slave plantation | Will Bunch

An investigation into a legacy of Georgia's white supremacy hiding in plain sight behind the state's new Jim Crow-style voting law.

The only way to get the attention of American-hating bigots is to hit them in the wallet............

Giancarlo Stanton ready for a conversation with other MLB players about moving the All-Star Game in response to Georgia's new restrictive voting laws. #Yankees

There is also pressure to move The Masters. The squeeze is also being put on large Georgia based corporations including Coca-Cola, UPS, AFLAC & Delta.

I already only watch the Yankees in the AS Game, are they trying to get me to completely tune out?  If you want to endear yourself to the fans don't antagonize half of them.

I am still waiting for anyone to voice their defense of vote harvesting.  You were audacious enough to defend card check about a decade ago.

Buycotts for those that resist and avoid those that fold.  I recall Steinbreenar using an attack from Jesse Jackson and Rainbow Push as an opportunity to point out the diversity in the Yankees' ranks and a snub for the Reverend.
