Interesting. How are you able to do that?

If they start I tune in early, if they are backups I tune in late.  It's a boring meaningless game where you just want your guys to come out healthy and rested.

Giancarlo Stanton ready for a conversation with other MLB players about moving the All-Star Game in response to Georgia's new restrictive voting laws. #Yankees

There is also pressure to move The Masters. The squeeze is also being put on large Georgia based corporations including Coca-Cola, UPS, AFLAC & Delta.

Buycotts for those that resist and avoid those that fold.  I recall Steinbreenar using an attack from Jesse Jackson and Rainbow Push as an opportunity to point out the diversity in the Yankees' ranks and a snub for the Reverend.

Boycotts sure shut Chick-fil-A up...but enjoy your Goya.

But you're able to watch only Yankee players between plays. Impressive.

I already only watch the Yankees in the AS Game, are they trying to get me to completely tune out?  If you want to endear yourself to the fans don't antagonize half of them.

I am still waiting for anyone to voice their defense of vote harvesting.  You were audacious enough to defend card check about a decade ago.

Supporting the freedom-hating right and their support of voter suppression tactics.  Give someone a bottle of water in a voting line of hours of waiting and go to jail. Only mentally ill people come up with that BS.

(a) No person shall solicit votes in any manner or by any means or method, nor shall any person distribute or display any campaign material, nor shall any person solicit signatures for any petition, nor shall any person, other than election officials discharging their duties, establish or set up any tables or booths on any day in which ballots are being cast:

(1) Within 150 feet of the outer edge of any building within which a polling place is established;

(2) Within any polling place;  or

(3) Within 25 feet of any voter standing in line to vote at any polling place.

This is the supposedly offending language in the bill.  It doesn't mention water.  It's obvious you shouldn't be soliciting or giving anything to strangers in line to vote but they had to put it in writing because people were crossing the line and the President and media jumped on the most insignificant example.  If you are going to get thirsty in line bring your own beverage.  Do we need trash cans and lavatories at all polling facilities?  This is getting absurd.  The real point of the law was voter ID and stopping vote harvesting.

There has been a long history of paying for votes.  This should not be controlversial.

I wasn't talking about history, I was talking about Georgia's new law. Unless you think that someone who's waiting on a long line is going to change their vote because they were given a bottle of water.

Hollywood makes a lot of movies and tv shows in Georgia. My guess is they will start filming elsewhere unless Georgia roles back it's recently passed election law.

The American-hating bigots who supported the anti-democratic law in Georgia should be ashamed of themselves.

"No person shall solicit votes in any manner or by any means or method, nor shall any person distribute or display any campaign material, nor shall any person give, offer to give, or participate in the giving of any money or gifts, including, but not limited to, food and drink, to an elector," the new law states."

Voters had made up their mind prior to getting on line.  No amount of water/nut bars are going to sway voters from making a 180 degree turn. Those on line for hours are committed to vote their conscience.  Otherwise they would stay home.

It's beyond ridiculous to claim a voter is gonna be influenced by being given a bottle of water.

It's obvious that first, they're making the time required to stand in line longer by cutting back on polling location personnel, then make it as uncomfortable as possible for those standing in line.
