after all these years I would suspect that those that follow baseball as closely as I would assume people that belong to a message board  would understand a 162 game season. They (and pretty much every team in baseball) will go through 3&4 weeks. Guess what, the Yankees will go though a couple more over the course of a season. I get the venting after losses but geeeeeeez please stop the whinning and contribute something else to the boards. After 15 years here, this place gets crazier after every loss then ever. 7 games in and it's like we're 20 games back

Could be wrong, but I get the impression it's the "younger" fans who flip out so early and easily.

Maybe they've been spoiled, or it's that need for instant gratification thing. Don't want to see it happen, but maybe they need a dose of the CBS years.

It's the same old story... fans reacting to every game... every play.. I suppose we're more invested emotionally.
I would think those who claim to be students of the game would have more of an understanding of the ups and downs of a long season. Slumps, errors and unfortunately injuries are part of the game. This injury plaqued team is what worries me more than anything.
That ishthole in Tampa has always been a house of horrors to this team! Hopefully tomorrow's game has a better outcome than todays.

Some were whining after game #1. It's crazy how they want to win every game.

The Yanks aren't really fast starters anyway. We'll be ok.

I will usually be good for an occasional "DFA Torres, fire Cashman, or move Sanchez to SS," which I do to lighten the mood around here once in a while.  I can get annoyed and frustrated at times like anyone else when the Yankees struggle, but it's inevitable- they WILL struggle and look bad at times.  But take it from me, the players aren't doing it on purpose just to **** off their fans. They'd love to go 162 and 0 and then 11 and 0 in the post season.  It ain't happening though so accept less than perfection, celebrate a new baseball season, don't dwell  on the Yanks' struggles too much, and be happier in your lives for crying out loud.
