Without confusing the outfield issue with the moves in the infield I see a traffic Jam for just this season alone. Next year there is an entire off season to make needed and many decisions. So, what would you do with Allen and Gardner now that Gallo is here. Frazier and Hicks are non contenders to play this season IMO. Frazier may even be traded if he ever gets off the IL. Rizzo affects the infield and at some point repercussions will evolve if they decide to keep him. for Odor, Voit, Torres and IMO Urshela and DJ have a home for to long to talk about. They need to be here and will be.

So back to Allen and Gardner and Gallo and Florial and Wade and Judge. I would send Wade down, I would have Allen take his roster spot as a 4th outfielder. Yes wade is primarily an infielder but for a roster spot he is not needed for either IF or OF. Urshela and DJ and rotate positions with Rizzo here.

Final question that bugs me is .............would you keep Allen over Wade for the rest of this season. Next year the chips will fall where they may. For all we know Judge may not be able to be retained due to salary LT restraints. I would for this season keep Allen send down Wade he can't hit and Allen is Faster and a better hitter and bunter and defensive outfielder IMO.

you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

First of all Frazier can be traded if he is on the IL. There have been a few guys traded in th elast coupl eof days that are on the IL and the Twins are still trying to trade Buxton who is also on the IL.

In terms of your questions, I keep Allen and put him in CF at a minimum against LH pitching. I think Gallo plays left and Judge right. Assume Gardner would play CF against some right handed pitching. Wade to me adds nothing. Sorry he is not that good a fielder and his hitting is horrible. With Allen he can be the designated runner if needed. Voit to me is a man without a place. Rizzo can hit lefties and he is a better defensive player by far. I would actually consider batting him second as he sees a lot of pitches and makes contact.

To first clear up[ something I said about Urshela and DJ, I meant they are the ones thaty have a home here and are needed. it will be a next year problem for Odor and Torres if they remain Yankees or not. I agree Voit is as good as gone, maybe even today. Unless they keep Voit on the IL and wait and see how Rizzo works out and if he wants to stay. I would do that if I was Cashman before I gave him away I think. I mean he was the HR king for 60 games and if he can break his workout routine and stop swinging like a cave man on a date he would be back to what he was.
