Another setback for Severino as he didn't make his scheduled start in AAA because he didn't feel right.

It's borderline inexcusable now. Who's to blame?

Yankees medical staff?

Severino?

Science - maybe his arm is truly messed up?

I think it'll be a miracle if Severino is ever himself again, when he had the first set back towards the beinning of the season I just had a feeling it'll be a rollercoaster with him.

It's starting to look that way... injury ontop of injury. Some players just can't stay healthy and never make it back, ie. Greg Bird.

Could be wrong, but I was half listening to the broadcast yesterday while doing other things and I thought they reported the MRI came back with no structural damage. Did anyone else hear that?

Luis Severino's most recent tests have shown no signs of structural damage in his shoulder, Aaron Boone said pregame Thursday.

"We heard back on the second opinion, which agreed with the first opinion: No structural damage in there. Looked pretty good overall," Boone said on Severino's recent MRI. "... He probably won't throw through this week, but that's something that we're kind of monitoring day by day.

"Lets get through this week and see when he's able to start throwing again and see where we're at at that point. ... I think overall it was pretty good news from an MRI standpoint."

guess this is good news that it isn't serious but at this point even if he starts throwing next week, doubt he'd be ready before sept 15-20. guess he could help in the bullpen. a shame, another lost season for a guy with a once promising career. he'll be 28 next season. still thinking he can be a player next year as reports before this latest setback were that he was throwing well.

that's good news, though even if starts throwing next week, doubtful he can be ready before sept 15-20 and probably only in a bullpen role. however reports before this setback were that he was throwing so at 28 next season, still hope he can be an important player.

I read this morning that Sevy is headed to California today to have a visit with another specialist. This must mean he is still feeling discomfort with the shoulder.
