Severino setback - who's at fault?

The Yankees haven't released results of the MRI and John Heyman is reporting Severino is going for a 2nd opinion. That most likely is not good news. I just hope the kid doesn't need another surgery. Whatever is found, I think it's starting to look like we may not see him at all this year and you have to start wondering if he will ever pitch at a high level again.

Another setback for Severino as he didn't make his scheduled start in AAA because he didn't feel right.

It's borderline inexcusable now. Who's to blame?

Yankees medical staff?

Severino?

Science - maybe his arm is truly messed up?

If I read the information right, Severino felt shoulder soreness which obviously wouldn't be directly related to TJ surgery on the elbow.  The problem is that when muscles aren't used for a period of time, they atrophy and when you aren't using your arm for the repeated motion he's likely been doing since shortly after he could walk, all of the muscles in the arm are going to suffer.  Maybe you can point to the physical therapy staff for not giving him a good and guided method for rehab or maybe he has followed the same routine as everyone else and it just didn't work as well for him.  Maybe you can blame Severino for not following doctor's orders or not reporting minor things when he felt them in an effort to get back to the field.  Who knows?

The guy is a troll who rarely has anything positive to add to the conversation.  wasn't he the one who wanted Green DFA'd and assigned to cleaning the toilets at YS when he blew a save?

Hi again - I'm back and I do enjoy the replacement players playing well and bringing the energy the team lacked in the 1st half of the season - including the Bronx's own Andrew Velazquez.

Also enjoy that Cash woke up and finally added lefties to the lineup.

But I'm also happy Chad Green woke up.... maybe Voit will too one day.

Do you even watch the games?  Voit has been hitting pretty good.

I am right now like I did when I joined this board back in the 2000s.

Voit had a solid past 4 games, though he had a rough start coming back from the injury earlier this month. It does look like he's serious about giving up those unnecessary tire lifts from his regiment. Good for him.

If you watched the games why would you make the comment you did?

I think it'll be a miracle if Severino is ever himself again, when he had the first set back towards the beinning of the season I just had a feeling it'll be a rollercoaster with him.

You're just such a ray of sunshine...
