If they think Haney out of the bullpen is the answer they'd better guess again. He's a ticking time bomb wether starting or out of the bullpen. Peralta allowed only one run in a week so he's good. Another guy out of the bullpen I'm starting to be concerned about is Green. He's been very inconsistent.

As I said previously...Heaney "struggles" early. Not a good idea, IMO, to have him piggyback Kluber. BTW...other than the occasional bomb, what does Gallo bring that Wade doesn't?

30 homeruns Is not an occasional bomb. Better slugging pct. and OBP and a natural outfielder.

If Gallo's name was replaced with Wade and he put up the same numbers Gallo has since he joined the Yanks many here would be ready to tar & feather him.

Do 30 HRs offset 200 Ks? There are stats for just about everything...is there one to show that?

As for OBP...Wade (.366) / Gallo (.312). Slugging...Wade (.349) / Gallo (.356)

Wade is an above average outfielder.

I'm not suggesting Wade replace Gallo, just that players are held to different standards.

I agree he has been given a longer leash, I think he gets some slack because of his career numbers.
