rizzo leading off probably because he's 5-9 w 3 doubles against eovaldi. judge hitting .391 and stanton .300 w a couple HRs which is why they're in the upper third of lineup. strangely greg allen 4-9 w a couple doubles. maybe he should be starting over gallo. devers has 3 HR this season off cole, so he has to pitch him carefully. enrique hernandez also hits cole well. the wildcard is dalbec who's playing because JD's out. cole needs to step up. people talk about must-win back in june. well tonite really IS MUST-WIN ...

I'm so worried Cole might spit the bit. His record in Fenway is not exactly stellar. Red Sox offense seem to read him well. At times wondering if he's tipping his pitches. Or perhaps a bit of sign stealing is involved. You can't put it past Cora to do whatever it takes to get an edge.
