Our offseasons are much more interesting than our Octobers.

Thank you to the New York Yankees for another fun season of baseball ... can't expect to win them all, but the Yankees have kept us entertained for decades now ... and in the end, that's what it's all about ... entertainment ... and sometimes you get the ring.

28 winning seasons in a row, playoffs in most of those seasons, and a World Series. No other teams can claim that and according to some, the Yankees stink. Fire everyone. A good friend of mine is a lifelong Orioles fan, digest that for a moment.

The season hasn't ended for me. As a lifelong dyed-in-the-wool Yankee fan, it would be great to see the Yanks continue on to a World Series win. But, I am first and foremost a fan of the game...the game of baseball. The MLB season continues, and I'll root for teams family members follow, like the ChiSox. The AZFL will take me thru November, followed by the start of Spring Training after a 2 month lull.

Yeah...it could be better but, as they say, it is what it is...and I'll take it.

Same here. Watching the post season stress free is a good thing.

True...it does take the edge off, and keep the BP from going thru the roof.

I will root for the Yankee players if they are playing in the Arizona Fall League. Then look forward to see what the Yankees do at the Winter Meetings. Other than that, I won't be watching any MLB post season games.

Like to see the Yankees stop using that annoying 2 strike sound effect next season. During the game when Guidry had 18 strikeouts Yankee fans came up with the 2 strike standing, cheering, and clapping tradition that other teams' fans copied. Yankee fans don't need sound effects.

I'm so with you on this. That sound is beyond annoying, cannot stand it. YS and savvy Yankees fans don't need gimmicks. The standing/cheering/clapping is just fine by themselves.

I'm indeed waiting for Feb. to roll around...

AZFL starts a week from today, so I'll still get my baseball fix at least thru November.

Haven't seen the rosters yet...I'm hoping Yanks send Volpe & Gil.

You at least have a short fix... Have a great offseason, I have Grandkids to watch to take my mind off of baseball...Still looking forward to the 2022 season... I think this will be a very interesting off-season, hopefully, Ca$h/Steinbrenners open up their pocketbook and get a couple of our biggest needs... I still think this team with a couple additions and subtractions can be really good in 22...

  • RHP Tanner Myatt (Low-A; was on IL)
  • LHP Clay Aguilar (Low-A)
