.149 average last year.  .206 lifetime.

He can catch the ball so there's that.

For me, I'd pass and Look for better trade option like Barnhart or Contreras.

I'd rather the Yankees sign Barnhart if he becomes a free agent. He bats lefthanded, his career batting average is .18 higher than Sanchez's. He doesn't hit for power, but he's a good defensive catcher.

I've brought up Perez here before, I also don't think the "Guardians" will pick up his option.

If they think he'll be healthy, I'd be fine with going for him.   He's an elite defensive guy who I don't think any of the SPs will not want to work with, unlike Gary.

What other Yankee pitcher has stated they don't want to work with Sanchez other than Cole, preferring Higgy? And he's said publicly he has no problem if Sanchez caught him.

Is your read that Cashman and company opted for Higgy over Sanchez to start the WC game ?   If that is the situation, then I think Sanchez is on thin ice in New York.

What players say to the media is one thing - what happens on the field tells the true story.    Kluber preferred Higgy as well.

So how do you know what is said on the field and know Kluber preferred Higgy also? Did they tell you that personally while you were having a beer? If you say that you must have gotten the information somewhere, if not the media where??? Btw how did Cole preferring Higgy work out his last 4 or 5 outings? My point is I've never heard anywhere other pitchers saying they didn't want to pitch to Sanchez, that's all over hyped conjecture.

Since Kluber only pitched 36 innings last year I am not sure if I care. That said, you owe it to cite a source when you post something like that.

Cole's final outings were hampered by a hamstring injury.    And it's more than conjecture with Cole, who never uses Gary.   When you're in the playoffs and Gary is sitting it's obvious what Cole Boone and Co think.    For Kluber, Higgy caught his no-no so I think it would be pretty obvious who he'd prefer as well.
