First it was "Periods for Pence" in Indiana as women rebelled against GOP attempts to criminalize miscarriages as "self-induced abortions".  Now it will have to be women going underground in networks a la "The Handmaid's Tale" to resist the patriarchy that threatens their right to choose.

GOP book censorship /banning comes to fruition as Public library might be coming to a close...Availability is there to all, no one is forcing feeding books.

The Right-Wing Plot To Destroy Public Libraries

There’s a long history of book-banning in the U.S. But conservative groups are emboldened like never before, and they’re taking their mission to a new level.

Only fascists are afraid of knowledge.

Our public libraries are here to stay but the Web and Kindle have given them some competition. We just gave a donation to our local library.

We need a test case to put this in the forefront in the courts.

What's gonna happen when all the remaining and soon-to-be Trump-related legal bilge works its way to the SCOTUS?

The horrendous fallout from red state abortion bans and the SCOTUS Roe v. Wade decision continue...

"A Florida appeals court will force a parentless 16-year-old girl to give birth because the teen is not 'sufficiently mature' to decide for herself whether or not to terminate the pregnancy. A circuit court judge previously denied the girl’s request to waive a state law requiring minors get parental consent for an abortion. On Monday, a three-judge panel upheld the decision.

The unnamed teen, according to the appellate ruling, is getting a GED through a program for young people who have experienced traumatic events in their lives. In her petition, the girl—who lives with a relative and has an appointed guardian—argued that she is 'still in school' and 'is not ready to have a baby,' noting that her guardian was 'fine with what [she] wants to do.'..."

Since when does Supreme court justice go on speaking engagement bringing attention to oneself? Talk about arrogance..

Justice Alito Mocks World Leaders Who Criticized Court's Abortion Ruling
Alito joked that former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson "paid the price" for speaking out against the majority opinion that demolished U.S. abortion rights.

Alito just might get that arrogant grin wiped off his smug face. There are a lot of R voters who are really upset with the SC for their ruling on Roe v Wade. Look at deep red KS. The Rs never saw that coming.

Plus the Ds are busy legislating access to abortions for those women who want the choice no matter what backward state they reside in. They will also ensure that medications will be available in all states via their mailbox or delivery truck.
