simply gleyber's turn. they have a formula or predetermination for the days off. the math doesn't work. 10 into 9 always leaves someone sitting and it's the IF where there's the bigger logjam and yeah dj's started the last 3 at 3B so donaldson needs a game there. yup there's always gonna be someone unhappy - both players & fans.

~~~~~~~~~~~~ Everyone needs a day off over the course of a very long season. As I believe you pointed out, IKF looks a little tired defensively & offensively. Nothing wrong with sitting a game or two. And yeah...it's a lot more necessary for infielders who are on their toes, physically and mentally, with every pitch.
