Same ole, same ole for Frazier.  Shooting his mouth off, spending a lot of time on tthe IL and not producing when he is not on the IL.

He  has 45 plate appearances in 19 games and is hitting .216 with a .653 OPS and no home runs.

‘‘I like it here,’’ Frazier said of Chicago. ‘‘Certainly don’t miss some of the things over there. And I’m really enjoying the way that this clubhouse has maneuvered. It seems like there’s a lot of guys in here that are just accepting of everyone. And it’s been really good for me.

“You had to be a cookie-cutter version to be on that team,” he continued of the Yankees. “If not, then you were like a really bad distraction, it seemed like. So I don’t miss being told how I had to look for the last five years.”

In the just concluded Twins series, Gio produced about what he did as a Yankee, Sanchez had no hits in 9 AB, something we often saw when he was a Yankee.  What will Frazier do this weekend?

If I were David Ross I'd be asking my player to focus on what he is doing now. He sounds like a jilted lover when he gives comments like those.

Agreed Pat. All of the players who the Yankees have moved on from, from 2021, are still continuing their trends when they were Yankees.

Frazier & Voit have made trips to the IL which "seemingly" has impacted their production for their respective teams.

Both Sanchez & Urshela last night contributed to our Yankees come back. I liked Urshela when he was a Yankee, but he was a terrible baserunner.

Clint should take a look at the current standings.

I do have some sympathy for Frazier and other prospects as the Yankees do tend to jerk them around, especially by prioritizing the size of a player's paycheck when making playing time decisions.  That said, however, unfair as it may be, young guys who have yet to become established major leaguers need to learn to keep their head down, their mouth shut and not make waves.  Pi$$ing off the front office is no way to advance a career.

Well Clint, if you're happy I'm happy. Have fun playing meaningless games for the Cubs.

I do too. Veterans with big contracts get all the time in the world to rehab from injury, work out of slumps resolve personal issues and are forgiven when they do dumb things. A young guy like Frazier or Andujar pays a much higher price. But that is the way it is. Of course it doesn't help when you don't hit.

There is a reason why ex-Yankees grow funny looking beards on their next stop after the Bronx.  Now I can be myself by looking like everyone else that is devistated by not being on the most storied franchise in professional sports anymore.

I don't think Gio is bitter because he didn't go the beard route.
