I still think that the Indians had unloaded a Minor League OF Prospect to the Yankees, who was turning into a trouble child for them.

I think Yanks had a choice of him or Bradley Zimmer. Neither has lived up to their expectations.

I happen to think the Yankees should allow hair length no longer than the length of Cole's hair and a stubbled beard. That said, I rooted for Frazier when he left the Yankees. But after he started making comments about the Yankees that I didn't like, I couldn't care less what he did as a Cub.

As with work place grooming. Who likes coworkers coming in scruffy, that rolled out of bed unwashed appearance? A groomed stache or even a groomed goatee pays respect to your coworkers.

That grizzly unkempt lumberjack appearance belongs in the wilderness. Dress to fit the occasion.

I don’t miss being told how I had to look for the last five years,” Frazier said.

Would a gal show up in an office environment rocking a bikini? You dress appropriately to fit the occasion..

That was a dumb azz trade from the start.  Don't make that deal and '16 and '17 might have ended very differently.

nah - the trade made sense at the time. Weren't going anywhere at the time and Andrew Miller only gave the Indians one good season after that.

Clint would've been fine if he knew how to play outfield walls... but he couldn't.

Sheffield was flipped for Paxton. That was good at the time and probably is good now.

Check the records. The Miller was at the end of Juy and the Yankees were 6 games out of first place.  Girardi did a great job holding those guys together but the front office gave up on the team. Yet they were 2 games out of a WC spot as late as September 11 despite trading away Chapman, Miller, Beltran and Nova earlier in the season. They ran out of gas in the second half of September and finished 5 games our the WC.

The year follwoing the trade, 2017, saw Andrew Miller make the All Star team appearing in 57 games for the Indians and posting a sub 2.00 era in 62 innings of work.

The only major league talent Yankees got in that deal they traded in 2019 fro Brenny Escainno.
