Not bad for Judge who some people say doesn't come through with runners on base.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Good for Aaron Hicks!  His leg kick is still pretty high, but thank goodness he was able to get a good swing on a 93mph fastball straight down the middle!

As for Aaron Judge, if the Yankees end up paying a king's ransom to retain him, then I think I am perfectly fine with it. I don't mind the Yankees paying a record salary, as long as the player is worth. Judge may be worth it. Judge not only hits homeruns and gets big hits, IMO, he knows how to hit. LOL...this was the guy who everybody was going to be the next "Dave Kingman". He could actually be the next Mickey Mantle, though I never lived to watch him play. That's because not only is Judge a great player, but he's clearly a great teammate (though I did not like his response to the "Jackie" situation), but most importantly he knows how to hit. With Judge's size and his strength, he could indeed be worth a 10 year contract.

Any way, absolutey a great win for the Yankees!

This was clearly a 2022 character building moment for the whole team! CLEARLY!

The season is still very young and there is a long way to go. But for a few minutes tonight it felt like the ghosts found their way to the new Stadium.

Mantle was probably "small" by today's players standards being "only" 5'11"  but incredibly strong
