Obviously hasn't worked out, but they're still winning in spite of his presence in the lineup. As for his defense...not at all impressed with his play in LF, but much better in RF.

Has there ever been a lineup you liked? probably not but he's right in this case. though RH'ers hit valdez a little better, he isn't death to LH batters. however marwin career-wise is slightly better against LH pitching and much better this season hitting .303 w a .876 OPS compared to gallo's overall putrid .180 BA. marwin should be starting.

He's saving Gonzalez for the late inning pinch hit game winning home run Edit: I just read Gallo has a .429 BA and 1.07 ops against Valdez so that is probably the reason.
