I thought the Dems treated him terrible during his hearing. Now I wish they treated him worse and then defeated his nomination. Honestly there should be some repurcussion for lying to congress and more importantly to the American people the way him and Gorsuch did. This kind of bullshyte is what is going to tear this country apart. What does only 5% of Republicans know how to tell the truth? Sleaze bag bastids.

What the hell has happened to our leadership? 72 years old and never saw it this bad.

Those two are not the only liars. But we can take comfort in the fact that Susan Collins remains "deeply concerned"...bordering on "seriously troubled".

I'm starting to see that as a good thing. Won't be around when this country hits rock bottom.

But still feel for my Grandkids/Great Grandkids, they are not going to have it so great if the GOP keeps wrecking our country...

It's a sad day when lying to Congress means nothing, and their oath to the offices they hold, means absolutely nothing, do anything to win power and then try and cheat to keep it... Sad world this USA lives in today...

Of course.

Maybe that'll motivate their parents, our kids, to wake up & get involved. I'm not optimistic.

I still think it's time to slap ourselves alongside the head and look at what's at stake this fall, if the Dem's, Independents, and the undecided voters don't get out and vote, they won't believe what the (R) will do to our Democracy/Country for years to come.. Every time we vote, I say this, but it might never be more true, this could be the most important election in our lifetime...

As I've said several times, far too many Americans are so shortsighted and self-centered they place far more importance on the cost of gasoline than saving our democracy. They'll get what they deserve.

Both he,  Barrett and Gorsuch was lying through their teeth. Said what what was necessary to calm the storm.

Their conservative stance never made me feel confident they would maintain Roe v Wade. McConnell's endorsement was all I needed to confirm my estimation.

Collins played nice with the big boys to feel acceptance. From her stance at the hearings, she convinced herself in believing what she needed to hear to move toward Kavanagh's nomination.

For me I was convinced it was a false flag that will come to bite us in the assss.

As in Missouri....no exceptions for rape, incest..total abortion ban.

From where I stand women no longer have equal right under the law. Our being is controlled by the government.
