an early start. guess we're back to full strength excepting the #9 hitter. sevy actually had a good start shutting the astros out for 5 innings before allowing a HR in the 6th. pena & alvarez were involved in a scary collision yesterday w alvarez carted of the field. wonder if either play tonite. we didn't see garcia this past weekend. another of the astros excellent starting corps. it'd be nice to get an early lead and let sevy cruise instead of waiting til the 9th  .

that's what happens when you have options. think the kid knows the drill. good news is he's made a good impression and he could be a piece throughout the season. they had brought up ryan weber for yesterday's game. my sense he was going back to make room for chapman whether it's today or tomorrow.

tonite kicks off a 10 game road trip. the schedule w the astros is wacky. one game tonite and then a DH right after the ASB. guessing the astro games were games that got canceled because of the lockout and they're just squeezing them whenever.
