didn't get the trade as i saw no spot on the main roster for him at all. relieved he's going to SWB. a depth move. certainly didn't mourn his departure. kid never lived up to his potential. he's got versatility but what good is that if you can't hit. IKF is way better.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He's not a "replacement" for IKF; possibly a backup. Doubt Marwin Gonzalez should be looking over his shoulder, but Gallo might. Wade "is what he is" offensively, but so is Gallo.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He's very versatile, can play any IF/OF position well. IMO he's as "good" an OF, if not better, than Gallo. LH bat, puts the ball in play, very good on the basepaths. Great late inning PR. His offense with the Angels has been pathetic; last year with Yanks not bad: .268/.354
