Only Stanton can consistently hit missles like that.    He's a unicorn.

    Stanton hit the ball that was pitched to him...but he did not see a better pitch in BP. I got no idea what the Pirates were doing. That said, most home runs are hit off mistakes and Stanton did what power hitters do.

it kinda rose as it went out. only stanton can hit them like that. that's the 2nd "ultimate GS" that we've had in a month. josh had hit it one as well. an amazing game - down by 4 heading into the bottom of the 9th. looked like the game was over but a scenario that we had seen regularly in the 1st half played out.

Absolutely... last nights game had a magical 1st half feel. When healthy and on the field this is a different team. It's good to see Donaldson finally contributing, along with the addition of Cabrera and Bader this team looks like it's getting ready for the post season!
