This is Biden's weakness on full display. You'll note that China launched this balloon and intentionally avoided Russian airspace on its way to Alaska and then down through Canada and into the continental U.S. There is no telling how much sensitive information this balloon may have gathered on its tour across the U.S. Of course, Biden waited 4 days to give the order to shoot the balloon down and by the time he gave the order, they had to then wait another 3 days to shoot it down safely. This thing should have been shot down over a week ago. But to give credit where it's due, congratulations to President Biden for giving the order to end the world tour of the Chinese Airship Swalwell. Too bad his cowardice wouldn't allow him to do it when it entered U.S. airspace over a week ago.

Why is anyone concerned with the reaction of Republican lawmakers and their clown-constituents over the balloon incident? Their responses are totally predictable and transparently partisan. Had the balloon been shot down over the U.S. and caused injuries/damage, their inevitable criticism would have been directed at that and charges of recklessness would have been shouted to the heavens.

Luckily, Marjorie Taylor Greene's twitter message urging "regular Joe's" to shoot down the balloon came too late. Can you imagine the hailstorm of futilely-spent AR-15 rounds coming back to earth?
