Tonight's speech should be quite the event.  Perhaps we should start a forum pool on which member of the House CooCoo Caucus will first interrupt the proceedings.  Hopefully, somebody has by now wrested the Speaker's gavel from the hand of Marjorie Taylor Greene, who was allowed to act as Speaker pro tempore in what has to be one of the lowlights in the history of that body.

In other sideshows, George Santos will bring along a guest that will only shine a spotlight on his 9/11 lies.  And, in a perplexing choice of presenters, the Republicans have chosen former Trump spokes-liar, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, to give the rebuttal speech following Biden.  Guess the GOP leadership doesn't want to risk any possible 2024 presidential contenders embarrassing themselves or the party.

As for Biden, he will certainly have a lot of ammo to expend against Republicans, from Trump on down, if he so chooses.  Or, he may decide to underscore his administration's successes and offer GOP lawmakers an invitation to bi-partisanship and cooperation going forward.

We will see what we will see...

Steve Schmidt:  “George Santos — if that is his name — will be at the State of the Union. His presence alone disgraces the Congress. The tolerance of his criminality, fraudulence and psychotic lying by the Republican Congress is evidence of decay that beggars description.”

I usually tune in for the SOTU rebuttals, but am not gonna bother this time.  I can catch the lowlights in the morning.

Biden's whole term has been a lowlight...  They should update your meds, you have no grip on reality.

Are you for real? If you can't see the problems, you can't be helped by any explanation. It would only be a partisan ****ing contest anyway.
