seeing a bunch of stuff suggesting that Yankees are considering Stanton as a part time LF as well as DH. If I rememeber correctly Stanton does seem to hit better when he plays the field compared to only DHing. But playing him in LF undoubtedly increases the chances of injury. Stanton in LF? Wouldn't it make more sense for Stanton to swap roles with Judge about 50 games a year in an effort to keep them both fresh ?

He'll probably play some away games in LF, but I don't think there's any chance he'll be the full time LF'er. You'd be filling one hole to create another at DH even if he could.

When Stanton is in LF they Yankees have lots of options @ DH DJ could DH or play 1st, 2nd or 3rd and Gleyber, Donaldson or Rizzo could DH

Judge is a fine athlete and have no doubt in my mind he wouldn't perform well in LF.

I wonder if anyone in the front office got a chance to see the outfield play in the Astros series. Maybe they should stop thinking.

That's awesome ... and the smartest thing they can do ! It allows the Yankees to rest some of their older players (DJ, Rizzo, Donoldson) get DJ in the field, and put the best lineup on the field And that's a pretty dam strong outfield with a couple of cannons
