surprised they're resting judge a day ahead of an off-day, especially considering how hot he's been. hopefully he's ok. looking forward to seeing sevy out there. he's not built up but again, it's day before an off-day, so most of the bullpen guys should be available. and to the haters, i'll say it, boone has been doing a very good job managing a rather patch work bullpen lately.

I was surprised to see Judge resting as well, thought he might DH, but I've heard Boone talk before about the value of a day off before a day off. A manager sure looks better when the players perform well. Should be an interesting game, not sure what we get from Sevy and the lineup looks short without Judge.

agree. the next blowup by a bullpen guy and folks will be calling boone the worst manager ever. it all comes down to players performing. no matter what so called "fans" think of a player, a manager has to trust and believe all 26 guys on the roster can do their job when called upon whatever the situation.

Me too. I understand the value of rest but any good idea can go too far. Just for giggles, I'd love to know the weight training done by players once the season starts.
