Nowhere was it said that the press "shouldn't publish things". Why would you have a problem with the media being urged to do exactly what you say you "have no problem with"?

When the White House sends a letter to the press to tell them to do what they should be doing anyway about an investigation of the President, that smells of interference. Why was the letter necessary except to send a message to the press? Did Biden's administration send a letter to the press to encourage "scrutiny" with evidence regarding Trump's investigations? the border crisis? Hunter's laptop? any other current issue? No. This letter says: "they're coming after me and I don't want you to publish anything about it."
