TRULY A DISAPPOINTING SEASON. TIME TO LOOK AHEAD. JA HAPP, TANAKA, AND JAMES PAXTON WILL BE FREE AGENTS. CERTAIN RE-SIGNINGS WILL BE DJ LEMAHIEU. WITH THE OVER $40 MILLION SAVED BY NOT SIGNING HAPP AND PAXTON, THEY CAN SHORE UP ROTATION OF COLE, SEVERINO, GERMAN, GARCIA, BY ADDING TREVOR BAUER FOR $ 40 MILLION FOR 1 SEASON. KAHNLE WILL BE BACK AND THAT WILL SHORE UP BULLPEN. SHOULD RESIGN TANAKA FOR 1-2 YEARS WHO DOESN'T DEPEND ON FASTBALLS ONLY TO GET GUYS OUT. HAVE TO WIN NOW AS EVERYONE MAIN HITTER IS ALMOST 30 YEARS OLD.

I and my partner thoroughly enjoy Centerstage. Our only question: Why are interviews male dominated?

neyankfan Post 1. Michael, I watched the 2nd Yankee debacle last night and was probably more disturbed of the fact that the YES Network announcers were over talking the entire Jeter Award ceremony. They've been talking all year about all the accolades Jeter will probably receive this year and then they steal the moment by showing the Yankee line-up which can be done at any other time during the game and how lousy CC Sabathia pitched like a true Yankee fan did not already know that! The Yes play-by-play announcers ought to take the opportunity to know when to shut up! Like many of you I've watched Jeter play for the last 20 years and like to see him justly awarded without announcers over talking the presentations. Let's all enjoy this special moment and season together! NEYANKFAN

Michael in 1961 World Series the Yankees defeated the Reds in 5 games. They split at home and won three at Cincinatti. How come you always describe the 1961 as a Yankees sweep in every old timers day?
