  I think it’s time to panic.  The Yankees are no longer solely in 1^st place anymore.  The Yankees aren’t playing like the Yankees anymore.  There are 27 games left of the season.  Will the Yankees at this point either win the division or even make the playoffs at their current rate of performance? So far this season the Yankees have lost 20 games trailing behind by 1 run.  3x they have lost against the Rays at the Trop by 1 run.  I also want to point out the following:

1996 Yankees lost 16 regular season games by 1 run.

1998 Yankees lost 10 regular season games by 1 run.

1999 Yankees lost 12 regular season games by 1 run

2000 Yankees lost 18 regular season games by 1 run.

2009 Yankees lost 16 regular season games by 1 run.
