On this day 6 years ago the New York Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series! The Yankees earned their 27th World Championship. Until today no other NY baseball team has won a world series! I’ve made a video last night to remind everyone what does the most recent NY baseball Championship Hat and T-shirt looks like! Hello fellow Yankees Fan,
What a historical day for MLB and the New York Yankees. Alex Rodriguez is suspended for the entire 2014 season (Including playoffs). This means Brian Cashman has more money to spend on free agency! The Yankees I personally feel were a much better team without Alex Rodriguez. After all they did win 26 World Series championships without AROD! Let's focus on the Yankees ON the field! Especially the one's that will win the Yankees their 28th World Series Championship!

I think it’s time to panic. The Yankees are no longer solely in 1st place anymore. The Yankees aren’t playing like the Yankees anymore. There are 27 games left of the season. Tomorrow pitchers and catchers will officially report for spring training. This will be the 112th season for the New York Yankees franchise. The Yankees will be looking to defend their division title and to win their 28th World Series title. Ivan Nova is having an impressive season so far with a record of 13-4. There are plenty of Nicknames I’ve seen him being called so far this season. My current favorite is Super Nova which is defined as “extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy, before fading from view over several weeks or months” There was certainly been a burst of wins for Ivan Nova due to consecutively winning his last 6 starts. Another popular nick names I’ve seen for Ivan Nova is named after Russian tsars. During this past weekend we watched Ivan the Great pitched against the Minnesota twins (7 IP, 5H, 0R, 0ER, 1BB, 5K).
